Recipe for: Easy Summertime Jello Layered Dessert
This dessert reminds me of summertime! It’s fun, frothy, fruity and with only 4 simple ingredients you probably already have on hand, you can whip it up in no time!
In my house, summer means quick and easy dinners and simple, fresh desserts that aren’t too heavy or difficult to make. We’re in the house all winter long. The last thing any of us needs is complicated recipes that keep us in the kitchen any longer than we need to be. The less prep time the better!
What I love about this dessert recipe, (other than how pretty and delicious it is), is how easy it is! Simply choose your favorite Jello flavor (my favorites for this recipe are lime, orange and strawberry), add in water, ice cubes and Cool Whip Whipped Topping and you’ll have a simple, but special dessert that’s perfect for those hot summer evenings.
Plus, the way this dessert magically layers on its own, makes it look like you put a whole lot more work into it than you actually did!
Garnish with your favorite fresh fruit (like slices of lime, oranges or strawberries), and a sprig of fresh mint and this easy crowd-pleasing dessert is as pretty as it is delicious!
