Whether you call it St. Patrick’s Day, St. Patty’s Day, St. Paddy’s Day or simply St. Pat’s Day, one thing is certain – it’s a great day to throw a party! After all, we’re ALL Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!
I love St. Patrick’s Day! Aside from the parades, parties and fun festivities, it also holds special meaning for me. Not only do I come from a long line of Irish roots, my middle daughter was born on St. Patrick’s Day. You can image how many Irish, green-laden parties we’ve thrown at our house! So many memories filled with trips to the downtown St. Patrick’s Day parade, making mounds of green shamrock cupcakes and dancing the Irish jig. When it comes to throwing St. Patrick’s parties kids love, you might say I’m somewhat of an “expert.”
This year, help your teen throw a Sham-Rockin’ party filled with everything green from beginning to end. From the decorations and desserts to the snacks and silly games, you’re sure to find a tad bit o’ inspiration here!
Decorations
Who says decorations have to be expensive? Keep it simple by making your own or, if you’re simply not a do-it-yourselfer, check out your local party store or dollar store for some inexpensive and fun finds. As long as it has a touch o’ green, it will work great! Here’s a little inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.
