I admit it… I’ve become moderately obsessed with bowl recipes! If you haven’t jumped on the “bowl wagon” yet, you really need to give it a try. Essentially, bowls are a ton of super good stuff tossed into a bowl topped with even more good stuff. Protein, vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts, yogurt… the ingredient possibilities are absolutely endless!
What makes them even more awesome is that you can pack a ton of nutrition into one bowl, they’re typically super easy to make (even for a weeknight family dinner), and they’re so deliciously tantalizing you can hardly resist becoming addicted to all the different variations and flavors you can toss together.
For me, my new little obsession has pulled me out of my typical dinner “rut” (trust me, my family was really ready for me to spice things up a bit), it’s taken the humdrum out of my cooking routine and it’s put a totally new spin on dinnertime. You can honestly have a ton of fun just conjuring up new bowl ideas for your family!
